Pre Choptober

So yes, Choptober is upon me. I know I know I have been dramatically quiet since Beermachine but everything went off well and ended in typically Beermachine style. (I ended up with beer in my fridge, more templates than usual, a spare mercenaries card deck and a spare cat.)

I ended up playing in it and it was the testing ground for my now FEARED and DREADED Garyth list.

Although I lost to Scarre, cause I forgot she has a great rack, cause I was drunk. Even being drunk is not an excuse to forget that someone has a great rack.

Anyway I think denial plays a large part of my list construction for Choptober. Not in a no spells anti movement no special actions or orders kind of way but in a "No Garyth is not bad" kind of way.

I did try to get back to eVyros but after a few games I quelled the urge to biff him out the window at the nearest passer by and placed him back in my army box next to the do not touch sign.

Garyth on the other hand has been dishing out victories of a caliber so delicious it makes the bitter defeats with eVyros seem like some kind of exotic yet tolerable dessert.

The E-Vyros of desserts.

Now I have been internally struggling with dropping Garyth for someone like, Rahn, or Ravyn, or Ossyan or even pVyros. Especially after getting trounced frequently by a Legion list. However anything else I threw at the Legion list got equally smashed, leaving me with the distinct impression its much the same problem I have with Gators. Scoop or L2P better.

Here are my lists for Choptober, let the netdecking BEGIN

List 1: I wish I was Rask.

Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper
Banshee
Phoenix
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard
Soulless Escort
Lady Aiyana & Master Holt
Stormfall Archers (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Arcanist
Arcanist
Dawnguard Destor Thane
Dawnguard Destor Thane
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution
House Shyeel Artificer

This is a fairly common configuration for my Kaelyssa lists. Its mostly tried and true and to be honest I may have played it only once and no more. I have utter faith in its armor cracking, spell denying, infantry swam killing scenario scoring, assassination potential.

List 2: Garyth 2013.

 Garryth, Blade of Retribution
Discordia
Phoenix
Sylys Wyshnalyrr, the Seeker
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard
Soulless Escort
House Shyeel Battle Mages (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Arcanist
Arcanist
Dahlia Hallyr & Skarath
House Shyeel Artificer
House Shyeel Magister

This is the box fulfillingly, kaiser-cide inducing, Garyth list which strike terror into the heart of all opponents, except Gators and Legion.

Yes no Hyperion. Hmmm yes no Strike Force, oh my gosh no Invictors.... Mage Hunter Assassins?

Bro do you even Retribution?

Somewhere deep down inside I actually feel like  these lists are far too similar and I am making a huge huge mistake. Some really basic common configuration is going to smear them across the table and I will have hard countered myself. However! denial is firmly in place and these 2 are the ones to win it.

Bring it on Choptober!

Garyth & Elara & Dahlia Hallyr vs Xerxis! 50 points

Garyth \g(a)-ry-th/
As a boy's name is a variant of Gareth (Welsh) and Garrett, and the meaning of Garyth is "gentle".
Not gonna lie. Looking at that armor stack from Garyths side of the table was intimidating to say the least. Sentinels were needing to one shot anything in order to get any value out of them.
Reaching Xerxis for an assassination would not be easy, and as for those beasts... whatever.

Garryth, Blade of Retribution
Phoenix
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard
House Shyeel Battle Mages (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Arcanist
Arcanist
Dahlia Hallyr & Skarath
Elara
Sphinx
House Shyeel Artificer
House Shyeel Magister
Narn, Mage Hunter of Ios

Xerxis
More brick than a brick shit house.

Incindiarii are one of the worst designs in the game. Lets take a unit and make it so missing is  better than hitting by making its main strength in a continuous effect. Which by the way is horribly imbalanced because if it falls on your Warcaster he will die a slow painful death, but if it lands on your Warlock it means she can LITERALLY run hot for the rest of the game because she has a bonus damage transfer at the start of each turn.

So the cunning wall of Acuraii or Cetratii or whatever they were means I completely didnt see the dickheads with Roman candles standing behind them like a group of adolescent youths with a complete disregard for fire safety warnings and common sense.

I was starting to think I was the Australian as shit around me was bursting into flames.

Because he killed a Sentinel with a direct attack it triggered vengeance.  Sphinx shot a Incindearii.

3 Sentinels charged the Bronzeback and did a fair chunk of damage, 4 more charged the Gladiator and left it on about 7 boxes. Seriously L2P that was terrible I don't know why they didn't all charge the same target.

Skarath laid down an aimed spray accross the side of the house and killed a couple Incindearii and put a little damage on the others. The Pheonix, Garyth and the one remaining sentinel completely failed to kill the Cetratii. Dahlia upkept haunting melody and went and made herself a nuisance.

Xerxis sits behind the house and feats. The Heavies smash my Sentinels into little bits . The Cetrati walk in on to the Pheonix, two connect but leave it functional. 2 More kill my Artificer and the Acuraii on the flank chop up most of my Battle mages. The Sphinx takes a little damage but is also fully functional.
Haunting melody stops him from going into shield wall or charging during his feat turn.

Skarath frenzies on to a Cetratii killing it. Dahlia dances around on the zone in front of his beasts. The magister Combo Smites a Cetratii but misses. The Pheonix kills one and misses the other 2 times, sets it on fire and leave it on one box. The Sphinx takes 3 focus and kills the 2 engaging Acuraii.
Elara for some mad reason decided that charging one of the two remaining Cetratii was a sure thing and went up and did like 3 damage to one with 2 focus used.

Narn however who I pretty much completely forgot about, woke up, charged the 2 Remaining Cetratii killed them both then wandered off to hang out all Solid Snake like on the side of a house.

Garyth as the text indicates, made a tactical withdrawal towards his table edge. The last remaining battle mage mustered its courage after watching its friends get  stabbed, beaten and  burnt to death and stands around in the zone.

Garyth could feel the shit storm was just about ready to engulf him but he made peace with Lacyr and dedicated his final moments to Scyrah. Probably walked out of the killbox but we were not using the artifice.

So MAT 5 Titan comes up and.. yea lol mat 5 haha. It leaves the Phoenix on 5 boxes, lol. Elara gets engaged by an Acuraii so the Sphinx Counter Charges in and kills it, but then the Incendiarii combine and kill her, making the Sphinx! inert.
My Phoenix dies to fire.... ..... ... .. .

Skarath turns around finishes off the titan and the remaining Cetratii while Dahlia sits around inside the zone. The Bronzeback wanders off to the far corner to kill the lone Sentinel flag bearer who is standing around being a dork.

The Battle mage who rallied turns around and pops the Acuraii out of the zone and kills it. What a hero.

Paingivers start lining up around Dahlia so Xerxis can combo smite them over her to put damage on her and start killing her. It was at this point I felt like I was doing something wrong because she felt to be horribly overpowered, so I checked the rules again.

Haunting Melody: Look at my snake, my snake is amazing. Trololol hahahaha your all useless.

On closer inspection... Yes Haunting Melody is amazing.

Skarath dies to the Gladiator, Xerxis slams a paingiver or whatever it is over Dahlia who sits on about 4 boxes now. The least disturbance rule puts her just out of the zone so he can dominate it.

It took Xerxis killing 2 of his own support pieces to collateral slam Dahlia to death. She stopped him scoring for about 4 turns tho so totally worth it, also meant his Bronzeback couldn't leave the zone. Amazing.

The one remaining Battle Mage uses beat back to push the Guy Who Yells At People To Stand Up into a position that Garyth could walk around and kill all 4 of the models. Then the next turn the Gladiator kills my objective and nets him another point. Garyth sits in the zone scores a point and shoots the enemy objective for 8 damage.
The Gladiator then slams into the SPhinx to get into the zone so I don't win at the end of his turn, it doesn't go far enough to contact Garyth, with Dahilia dead Xerxis can leave his zone while the Bronzeback had to stay back and kill an Arcanist I ran into the zone.

The battle mage connects with both fists on the Gladiator but cant push it ouf of the zone, so we start some Temporal Warp warmachine. I go with shooting the objective and kill it netting me 5th point and the win.

But then we go back and I charge Xerxis to see if Garyth can do it. He can apparently, in 2 attacks.

People talk about the "water style" play of Retribution and when looking into the Onomastics of Garyth I'm starting to get a clue about a better play style for him. Either that or....

Kaelyssa v 3 Makeda Batrep 50 points

One of several 50 point games had.
There was a pVyros top of the second assassination and a travesty of a Kaelyssa game vs a blood runner tier list.

This one Kaelyssa vs Mak3da
Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper
Banshee
Phoenix
Houseguard Halberdiers (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Houseguard Halberdiers Officer & Standard
Houseguard Riflemen (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Houseguard Riflemen Officer & Standard
Lady Aiyana & Master Holt
Stormfall Archers (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Arcanist
Fane Knight Skeryth Issyen
House Shyeel Artificer

Invictors were running proxy for Riflemen
This was part of the beginning of my Riflemen kick this week. Just putting them in a few lists and to be honest finding them OK. In games where Mage Hunter Strike force would not typically perform too well Riflemen can pick up some game in their stead.

I popped an early feat not to eat too much fire blast damage or Molik Karn to the face.

Early Halberdier casualties from Incendiarii fire continuous damage. His bodygaurding warlock unit flank out to contest objectives.
Its so sweet Kae is 7 Warjack points, its like PP really wanted to make up for the travesty that's Garyth with his measly 5 points. To be honest when you put these 2 casters together and look at the points difference I really cant understand the discrepancy.Their def stats are the same, spell list and feats of similar utility guns and melee assassination potentials are pretty close. Kae just got 7 focus and 7 warjack points while Garyth got 6 and 5... cause.... well cause that's why he sucks, obviously.

Skyreth goes up to cap the left flag but Molik had it contested. He was barely in, just the tip.

So he smashes up most of my halbs, gets Skyreth and screws up some of his activation orders, Fate Walker is super sweet tho and he clumps up on the left flag, scoring a point.
 Retribution: 1
Skorne: 1

Not feeling like I can take attrition with the Pheonix too far away to deal to the Titan, and the Banshee unable to guarantee a knock down on either Molik or the other Titan I went for assassination.

It was a tough call going for the sass. It came down to go for Molik chance to hit 50% at best. Chance to kill after KD 80%. Result Titan picks up trade. Go for Titan? result Molik Karn to army face.
I think I was only about a 65% on the Krea but hey, it worked.

Step 1: Arcanist power boosters Banshee.
Step 2: Kaelyssa charges the Arcanist, kills it, uses the bonus range to put Phantom Hunter on the Banshee
Step 3: Banshee positions so the Krea (b2b with Mak3da) will be slammed over Mak3da. Boosts a shot and connects slamming down Mak3da and killing the swamp gobbers.
Step 4: Aiyanna gets Mak3da warmed up with some foreplay.
Step 5: Rest of my gunline gangf*Ks Mak3da
Step 6:

Ravyn vs Sturges 50 pts Battle rep

Elaras gig is up. Sturges the not so dead bowls down into town, where Ravyn and the young Elara are mulling around, thinking of something to do with the excess Manticore sitting about, Ravyn grins and Elara pouts.
Enter the Cygnarian cut throat of a Warcaster, seeing a good fight, the gambler in him did wholly muster.
Hood concealing steely eyes, Sturges wagers a bet on lives. To which the elven women are easy to accept. But at the price of failure the cost of confidence is paid with debt, as the deft and still skillful  Sturges collects the bounty on Elara's head.

Ravyn, Eternal Light
Manticore
Manticore
Dawnguard Invictors (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Invictor Officer & Standard
Souless
Lady Aiyana & Master Holt
Arcanist
Arcanist
Artificer
Heavy Rifle Team
Heavy Rifle Team

Eiryss, Mage Hunter of Ios
Elara
Manticore

Phoenix proxy for the third Manticore.

Sturges
Runewood
Storm Smith
Gun Mages
Marshaled jack (aoe knock down gun)
 Storm nouns
Stormwall

Early casualties
So by the second turn he sniped the Stormwall, didnt know about this. It sauntered up and shoot Elara right in the face. I was worried about the threat of the Gun Mages if I was really being careful I would have had Elara with the Artificer sitting behind the wall. But I didnt.
The HRT's were a bad choice over all but I wanted to try them, the draw back was I tried to protect them and tried to use the scenario to take advantage of them. If they were not there then Elara would have definitely had more cover, that and not thinking about his threat lost her early.
Gun Mages rolled up high, hitting Eyriss (who missed them) on the first roll of 9 and killing her outright. The others dropped a gunner each from the rifle teams. Not the best start for me, great for him.

Ravyn feats and fails. One point for objective one point from Arcanist on flag.
Analyzing the weight of fire I could put down and not being aware that the Stormnouns did have arc shield on them Ravyns feat turn was lack luster. Aiyanna kissed the objective and Holt put 9 damage on it, but it took 3 more Invictors to finish it off. The other Invictors worked on the Stormnouns and did poorly due to an un marked Arcane Shield which I thought was on the Stormwall. First Manticore fires 3 times and nets 0 kills, the other nets 2 out of 3 shots. One Invictor didn't fire and advanced to the inert Manticore along with the Arcanist as we were not sure if once it was re activated the Jack Marshals could Marhsal it or if they had to activate it themselves.
Ravyn herself and the HRT in front of her fail to produce any kills, and the HRT to her left kills one and swift hunters to fill the gap. A foolish move for if the Marshaled Cygnarian jack had hit they would have all been knocked down.
In that respect I got lucky.

Stormwall scores a point, the Stormnouns get another by killing my objective
Runewood comes up and shoots off the Arcanist. The 2 Stormnouns take out the objective while his Jack misses its shot. The Gun Mages push back my Manticore with a few shots while the Storm Caller disrupts it. On the other side the Storm Pod goes down and zaps out Holt, then the Stormwall shoots Aiyana in the face.

Its about to all go bad.
Seeing that extracting revenge for Elara is quite likely out of the question Ravyn retreats from the Gun Mages, if I was feeling more ballsy she may have just run in and engaged them, but that jack was giving me the heeby geebys.  Ravyn drops back and puts snipe on the HRT which rolls and does 0 damage. The disrupted Manticore shoots and nets 0 damage.
2 Invictors only are in range of Stormwall and combine for... 4 damage.
The Marshaled Manticore Charges and puts on 14 damage. The other Manticore gets Concentrated power and Charges with D+1 and nets a total of 19 damage over 3 attacks. Two of the other invictors shot at Runewood with dice for damage and leave him on one box.
I curse ceaselessly and hope the one wrecked arm I gave the Storm Wall will cut me a break from his amazing die rolls. My Artificer fails to connect with both attacks against his Stormnouns
Sturges Feats masterfully and nets 3 points to win.
So Sturges charges the Manticore he can see. He chain attack flashes to the far side of it and feats, it pulls the far Manticore away from contesting. It pulls in the Arcanist and 2 Invictors and this lets him net the kills and feed the focus to the Stormwall. He then goes on to wreck one Manticore and mess up the other with some amazing dice rolls before teleporting to the objective.
The Stormwall has no issue killing a half dead Manticore with 3 focus and the Stormnouns take out the Artificer easily.

Defeat! Cygnar: 5, Retribution: 2.

Thats game, I didnt quite expect it to go like that. One turn of below average rolling followed up by Sturges super awesome damage and movement took me by surprise. The HRT's really didnt perform and I was left at the end of the game wondering if I really should have taken either Strike Force or if 3 Manticores was just a bad gimmick.
My opponent professed that the covering fires were a pain and they put hurt on his Colossal but I was still skeptical. I felt like I needed more punch. However the fact of the matter is in most cases if they have a Colossal/Gargantuan I will likely run Ossyan or Kaelyssa, OR Ravyn with Strike Force for the assassination potential.
I think I can try it again, the three Manticore that is, not the HRT's and maybe drop the Invictors for MHSF and fitting in a Destor thane and some other bits. Maybe an AFG...

Rahn & Elara vs Xerxis tier brick 50points

Finishing off my day of Elara championing I whipped her out with the Rahn list and her very own arc node to see if I could make use of Convection through feat or even help with an assassination.

Adeptis Rahn Shyeel
Aspis
Hypnos
Sylys Wyshnalyr
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard
Soulless Escort
House Shyeel Battle Mages (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Arcanist
Arcanist
House Shyeel Artificer
House Shyeel Magister
Mage Hunter Assassin
Mage Hunter Assassin
Elara
Phoenix

Xerxis
Bricks & Mortar
Catapults
Titans
Guy who yells at people to stand up, again.

The silver model behind Rahn is Sylys
Early on the catapults start firing at my Mage Hunters, after the first turn Rahn puts Force Field up and direct all incoming blasts to the Artificers front desk.

Missing picture again, Skorne shield walled and walked into the zone.

Rahns mesmerizing feat.
Between this pic above and the one below Rahn feats and with Sylys Tk's the Bronzeback out of the zone facing it backwards. The Artificer zots one of the Cetrati that are in a three man shield wall and uses the Magno Blast to push the other 2 out of the zone and the Magister Force Bolts the Titan closer to him hoping the Phoenix will be in range.

There he is!
Xerxis has Inhospitibal ground up so the Sentinels wreck the Objective. The Arcanist feeds the Phoenix a Focus and Elara Convections one of the previously pushed Cetrati to give the Phoenix another Focus.  The Phoenix now charges the Titan who was brought closer by the Magister but is ever so slightly out of range and fails its charge. A mage Hunter Assassin however charges it and puts on 14 points of damage.

On the left Flank the Battle Mages take out 2 Cetrati.

Clearing the zone and taking the Objective nets me 3 points.

ITS NOT TIBERION
So Xerxis feats and his army advances. Starting from the left of the image the Cetrati advance with the Guy Who Yells At People To Stand Up and they kill half of the Battle Mages. One Cetrati shoots for my Artificer so I Shield Guard it with the Asps and he pulls the Aspis in and kicks it for a good chunk of damage.
The Titan gets Train Wreck and train wrecks through my sentinels. His other Proxy thing that's not tiberion misses my Phoenix an unbelievable amount of times and only takes out its shield boxes.

Time for Rahn to shine.

So he has re contested the zone with 4 miniatures. The Mage Hunter Assassins, one charges and the other walks over and between them they finish off the Titan. The Sentinels Charge over its corpse and kill the Cetrati and the Pain Giver in the zone and Rahn uses Telekinesis to push the Titan out and Dominates again for 5 points total

Victory

I almost got to try what I wanted with Elara but I screwed up with the Phoenix, like I have done in a  few games with my placement and I didn't make the most of it. None the less she still did something and has seemed to prove quite easily that she will run one jack with a decent gun with very little trouble, or without much to worry about.

When I first saw Elara I thought of something like a cross between
A hot babe with an answer to everything

And

A guy who hates magic and dual wields horribly improbable blades.

Whereas the popular opinion was something like this

Thankfully there is also the forum community opinion of "When life gives you Lemons..."
To which I respond
Jam them in their eyes and make some sweet Thai Lemon and Crab Salad that hates all magic, is hot and has an answer for everything.

You'd eat that.

Garyth & Elara vs pSkarre 43 points (wtf?ikr!)

43 points yo

Garryth, Blade of Retribution

Discordia
Dawnguard Sentinels (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Sentinel Officer & Standard
Soulless Escort
Arcanist
Arcanist
Dahlia Hallyr & Skarath
Dawnguard Scyir
House Shyeel Magister
Elara
Griffon
Griffon

pSkarre
Crab Jack
Some Other Jack
Banes
Mech Thralls
Necro surgeon
possible other necro nouns.

Looks like I played without my souless, oopsies. Note the Invictor UA as Scyir proxy.
We ran at each other screaming with our dicks in the wind. Well more like he ran/floated at me wailing with his bones in the wind and I kinda just nudged forward and girded my loins.

Missing the pic the turn he feated. Everything walks into one of the 2 zones and gets Skarres feat. Hurray, screw this game seriously what an OP feat.

Skarath comes in from the flank after passing its Threshold check, Discordia assists with her spray.
The Sentinels charge in, combined with Skarath's spray and Discordia's spray and remove a good chunk of the Banes and Knights, my biggest concern. Elara and the Griffons + Scyir mess about with the Mechas on the other side, Charging the Brutes to take them out early. Garyth positions up to feat so Skarre's Jacks cant retaliate on Discordia.

Remaining thralls kill most of the sentinels with some great work from his Crab Jack. Elara counter charges a Mech
He repositions to cover Skarre with his mat8 JackOfDoom and the Crab jack pulls my sentinels apart, leaving me with 2 plus the standard. The Mech thralls start working away on my Griffons and missing Elara and the Scyir and the Magister, who are busy failing at life. The Necro baby maker thing in the back is crapping out more thralls every second.

More sprays from Discordia and Skarath clear the zone and take the objective while putting some hurt on both jacks.
The Sentinels mop up after the sprays and Garyth goes and hides behind the bush to get 3 points from Objective destruction and Zone domination.

Damage control! Initiate Trample mode!
Skarre steps over to kill the Scyir but needs to spend almost all of her Focus to do it thanks to Iron Sentinel, The Griffon still free strikes the JackODoom but it gets the trample off and goes over all three of my Sentinels.... who survive!

Sprays and movement with lots of lines to look tactical.

With Victory clearly in sight I systematically go about trying to throw the game. All I needed to do was kill the jack again but what I did do was as the picture indicates. Rather than having a contingency plan I leave removing the Jack entirely up to Garyth and he just pulls it off just barely, so I win.

Victory!

Elara was running as a unit option, I didn't expect the lights to do any heavy lifting, there were several times I could have counter charged but didn't want to leave myself too exposed to all those Mech Thralls who could have done a good job of wrecking the Griffons. its a pity about the undead thing and the fact I hardly rolled over a 6 cause they technically could have cleared the zone a lot faster with some average rolls, thankfully I was rolling above average on the other side so who cares!

Ossyan + Elara vs Molik Karn... and some other warlock guy.

As part of my continued championing of Elara I had a game with her and Ossyan. I wanted to run her with 1 of 2 Banshee, but I didn't want to proxy. So the list was as follows.

Lord Arcanist Ossyan
Pheonix (wanted to be Banshee)
Hypnos
Dawnguard Invictors (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Dawnguard Invictor Officer & Standard
Stormfall Archers (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Arcanist
Arcanist
House Shyeel Artificer
House Shyeel Magister
Elara
Banshee

His list was

Molik Karn
Your typical hexipedal elephants
Your typical bipedal crocs
Angry guys with whips
Dude with a flag and dude who yells at people to stand up
Some emo who could cut himself to generate fury in a pinch.

Deployment

Molik Karn went first by sitting behind a hedge and ordering the rest of his army to walk into the gun line, in the style of 18th century warfare.
Ossyan Quickened the Pheonix, put Admonition on Hype and advanced behind the hedge. Elara put up Battle Charged and advanced with the Banshee. The artificer went up and Kinetic Fielded for the sake of it.

I'm sure something happened, but it apparently didn't. Molik I know sat behind the hedge some more had his krea hang around and be annoying to shoot at and sat in the zone with his gators.

Ossyans feat marked in the faded green spiral was just short of the Titan.
The Magister popped forward and pulled the Bronzeback forward, then Ossyan went to the left of the Invictors and shot it, tagging it with a Chrono Phage and putting some damage on it while popping his feat. The Pheonix then shot it and put a good chunk of damage on it, followed up by the Invitctors shooting without combines but mini feating. It was dead before the last 3 fired and it was when I measured up their range I realized I just barely missed the Titan in my feat. Hypnos walked up and Void Locked him and the Banshee went up to knock it down and try position for a counter charge.

There is no excuse for leaving the other Titan out of my feat, I am just bad.

Molik Karn deems is necessary to do something.
So the solo yells at the bronze back to stand up, which does and walks over to smash the Objective. The Banshee was ina  bad spot, figuring Molik could just walk up and wreck it so it counter charged to put some damage on the Titan before it took Molik to the face. It put a bit of damage on the Titan and the Titan wrecked the Objective. Molik walked over the hedge and Hypnos Admonitioned away but OUT of the zone, oops. Molik smashed the Banshee and he scored 2 points that round.
On the other side the Pheonix jerked around with some Gators.

Pro tip, kill Magisters.
Ossyan went first, tagging the Titan with a Chronophage catching Molik inside it and dropping admonition on himself. The Magister charged Molik and Combo Smited him to knock him down, there the Stormfall archers who had other wise done not much at all put some serious hurt on him. The Invictors finished him off and helped pick out a Gator and some pain givers.

The rest of the Skorne army sans Molik Karn step in to contest zones and jam up my Invictors
Most of the Invictor flank attacks were ineffectual, Elara with the stormfall finished off the Krea or Drake or whatever it was, Hypnos was left on only his cortex and movement after the Titan smashed him up but with some lucky rolls and Ossyan firing into combat in a last ditch attempt I finally kill the Titan and sit back with Admonition up.

Somewhere around here the Emo guy in the back as being so emo I couldn't focus at all.

Emo mcStabbypants or Morghul or whoever he is, suddenly appears out from behind the back of the of the rest of the crushed Skorne army and while bouncing off the Invictor standard bearers face lands in front of Ossyan, who Admonitions away, aims, shoots him in the face and kills him with 2 Arcantrik Bolts.

Victory

Elara was fine in this list, its a pitty I was over committed with the Banshee and didn't place the feat well or I might have had a bit more use out of it, but still without her I wouldn't have been able to slow the Titan down as much as I did so yay.
